There's a <a href="http://agspace.nal.usda.gov:8080/bitstream/10113/4219/1/IND43954361.pdf" rel="nofollow">proposal</a> that's been submitted to maintain <i>Ziziphus jujuba</i>, but a decision doesn't appear to have been published yet. I always thought that Diospyros meant “divine fire” – looks like I was wrong.
